A streak day is a UTC day with at least 10 minutes in voice.
The rule: 10 minutes on a UTC day
A streak day is a UTC day with at least 10 minutes in voice. Dropping in for a quick catch-up is enough.
Your current streak is the number of streak days in a row. It keeps going while your last streak day is today or yesterday, so you can still extend it until the UTC day is over. Miss a full UTC day and it ends.
Your best streak is the longest run you have had, and it never goes down. After a streak ends, your next streak day starts a new one at 1 day.
A streak, day by day
- Monday
- At least 10 minutes in voice: a streak day. Streak: 1 day.
- Tuesday
- At least 10 minutes again. Streak: 2 days.
- Wednesday
- Under 10 minutes, or none: not a streak day.
- Thursday
- Wednesday passed without a streak day, so the streak ended. Another 10 minutes starts a new one at 1 day. Best streak: still 2 days.
Counted in UTC, by the day a session started
Days are UTC days, whatever your time zone. A day runs from one midnight UTC to the next, and the website shows its times in UTC too.
A session counts on the UTC day it started. If it runs past midnight, all of its time still belongs to the day it began, and the new day needs a session of its own to become a streak day. Several short visits on one UTC day add up, so you can reach 10 minutes in pieces.
Midnight UTC falls at a different hour of your day depending on where you live, so plan around UTC and not around your own midnight.
Which UTC day does a session count on?
- One session
- It counts on the UTC day it started.
- Past midnight
- All of it still counts on the day it started.
- Several visits
- Their time adds up on each UTC day.
Why streaks work for communities
A streak gives members a small reason to join voice on a day they might skip. 10 minutes is a low bar, so even a quiet evening in the channel keeps it going.
/streaks lists who is on a streak right now, with no window to pick, so it is always about today.
What a streak gives a server
- A reason to drop in on a quiet day
- One simple rule for every member
- A board that is always about right now
- A personal best that never goes down
In Discord: the top 10 with /streaks as a picture card
Run /streaks for the members with the longest current streaks. ODIN answers in the channel with a picture card of the top 10, each row with the streak in days and the member's best, like “21 days · Best: 33d”. The reply is public, so anyone who can read the channel sees it.
There is no timeframe option: the board always shows who is on a streak now. Your own row shows even when you are not in the top 10: it is highlighted with a YOU tag inside the list, or shown under a dotted divider below it, as in the picture. With no active streak, ODIN says “You have no active streak.”
Every picture has alt text with one line for each row, and someone with the Administrator permission can switch a server to text boards with /odin style style:text. The other four boards are on the voice leaderboards page.

On the website: boards, distributions, history and a calendar
Log in with Discord and your server has a streak board beside its other leaderboards. Arrows show how each member moved against 7 days ago, and four figures sit above the table: members on a streak, the average streak, the longest and how many are on 7 days or more.
Only members of a server see its pages. Hide your streak history and calendar from other members with /odin privacy details:hide; your streak itself stays visible.
Where streaks show up on the website
- The streak board, with the move against 7 days ago
- The stats page, with how your server's streaks are spread by length
- A member profile, with the current and best streak
- The streak history: runs of 3 days or more, the latest 12
- The calendar of the last 84 days

Frequently asked questions
What counts as a streak day?
A UTC day with at least 10 minutes in voice. Several short visits on the same UTC day add up, and a session counts on the UTC day it started.
Which time zone do streaks use?
UTC. A day starts and ends at midnight UTC, wherever you live, and the website shows its times in UTC too.
What happens to a session that runs past midnight?
It counts on the UTC day it started. A session that begins in the evening UTC and ends after midnight belongs to the evening's day, so the new day needs a session of its own to become a streak day.
Does my best streak ever reset?
No. The best streak never goes down, even when the current streak ends. Miss a full UTC day and the current streak ends, then your next streak day starts a new one at 1 day.
How do I see my streak?
Run /streaks in Discord to see who has the longest current streaks, each with their best. On the picture card your own row is highlighted with a YOU tag, or shown under a divider below the top 10; the text board ends with a "Your rank" line. On the website, log in with Discord and open your profile for your current and best streak, your streak history and a calendar of the last 84 days.
